Political Sculptor, 3D Left Shark Maker, Served a Cease and Desist; Responds With Go Fund Me Page for Legal Fees

The Political Sculptor, a Maker who designed and printed a 3D sculpture of the infamous Left Shark, has received a cease and desist letter from Katy Perry's "people."

He has responded with a GoFundMe campaign for his legal fees.

My guess is, he's going to get a lot of new customers.
But what I really want to know is - where is he getting a lawyer for $500??

Kindness is A Vehicle for Change

Now, to get back to posting something that truly is "a vehicle for change" --

In case you haven't heard about this already, check out this story about James Robertson, a man from Michigan who walks to and from work everyday.

A friend of his set up a gofundme page to buy him a car.

Well, it is about to go viral and will probably hit $300,000 or more by the time you read this.
Once the AP picks it up, who knows?

In the cosmic connection / odd coincidence department, there is an organization that has been buying cars for the working poor for years. It is called Vehicles for Change.

Use your powers for good.

And the Winner Is....Fiat!

I know the suspense has been killing you, but our award for best Super Bowl commercial is Fiat.

Reasons :

1) Humorous
2) Sexy
3) and it contains a cat AND a vehicle.

The Italian factor didn't hurt either.

Call for Makers : Maker Faire Bay Area 2015

Just in case you missed it, "Call for Makers" for San Francisco Bay Area 2015 is now open. If you have never been, you need to go at least once - but trust me, once will never be enough!

If you feel you are not yet ready to call yourself a "Maker" - or you are a Maker who would rather walk around and meet other Makers instead of strutting your own stuff, then take advantage of the opportunity to grab the early bird discount...

Added to the Vehicles Page

Found this really cool website, so I added it to the "Vehicles" page :
