I figure, if I want to encourage more independent artists to use "music as a vehicle for change," it makes sense for me to set the example. Since I put in a LOT of volunteer hours into non-profit work, the majority of proceeds from CD sales will indirectly finance my two pet projects: A Vehicle for Change and The Plant Studios' Artsboretum.
There are only special TWO CD release events with the band, Livin' Like Kings: First is scheduled for September 25th at the 142 Throckmorton in Mill Valley and the final is October 9th at the Rancho Nicasio. DJ Mystri Spins for The Plant's Legacy!

At the Sausalito Art Festival, great music, both LIVE and recorded, will be begging your bootie to boogie. DJ Mystri Gardner, will be start the Sunday 70's set with Wake of the Flood by Grateful Dead and For You by Prince, then between sets by Pablo Cruise and the Tubes, it's time for Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Between The Tubes and Dave Mason, hang out for a listen of Talkin' Blues by Bob Marley, the majority of which was recorded in 1973 for a Live from The Record Plant show hosted by Tom Donahue on KSAN.

As always, DJ Mystri's music was recorded at the legendary Plant and she uses the proceeds to continue her non-profit work for A Vehicle for Change and The Artsboretum projects.
